About the Series

The Revelation Project offers a fresh perspective led by Dr. Chip Bennett and Dr. Warren Gage on the Book of Revelation, emphasizing understanding the text itself as a source of hope centered on Jesus Christ, rather than focusing on fear, authorship and dating. This study explores the connections between Revelation and the Old Testament, particularly the book of Joshua and the story of the Battle of Jericho, suggesting that Revelation is a retelling of Joshua’s narrative. The project reads Revelation alongside the Gospel of John, revealing its literary structure, noting its chiastic patterns and classifying it as a classical comedy, highlighting the triumph of good.
The John & Revelation Project Series further investigates the relationship between the Gospel of John and the Book of Revelation, emphasizing their interconnections. This series explores the literary center, genre, and chiastic writing of both books, proposing that they are companion texts that reveal a unified vision.
The Wonder series seeks to answer the questions: “Who is Lady Babylon, and what is the great city?”, intending to evoke a sense of wonder and understanding as the connections within the text are revealed. This series uses a diptych method, encouraging readers to approach Revelation alongside the Gospel of John to see deeper meanings.
The overarching goal of both the Revelation Project and the Wonder series is to encourage readers to understand Revelation as the revelation of Jesus Christ and his message of salvation.
