5W1H refers to a method of understanding and testifying to the physical fulfillment of prophecies, particularly those found in the Book of Revelation. It stands for:
- Who
- What
- When
- Where
- Why
- How
This framework is expected for the type of testimony Shincheonji aims to provide. To effectively explain the fulfillment of prophecy using the 5W1H, it is necessary to first establish the foundation of figurative language in scripture, as understanding this is crucial for the explanation to make sense to people.
An example of a fulfilled prophecy explained through the 5W1H is Revelation 1:20, concerning the mystery of the seven stars and seven golden lampstands. According to Shincheonji Theology, this prophecy, initially a mystery known only to God until its revelation, has been physically fulfilled as follows:
- Who: The 7 stars of the Tabernacle Temple
- What: The 7 stars taught
- When: 1966
- Where: Gwacheon, South Korea
- Why: To prepare for the Lord’s Second Coming
- How: Jesus appointed and taught them, then they began preaching
According to Shincheonji, they can clearly testify to the 5W1H for events described in Revelation from chapter 1 to chapter 17, as these are considered to have been fulfilled. Chapter 7 is still ongoing for the gathering of the Great Multitude in White (still harvesting). Chapters 18, 19, and 20 are yet to be fulfilled, while chapters 21 and 22 are regarded as summaries spread throughout the book.
