Fulfillment of Revelation

by ichthus

The fulfillment of Revelation refers to the physical reality or actual occurrence of the events that were previously foretold as prophecies in the Bible’s Book of Revelation. It signifies that God’s promises, once given in figurative or sealed terms, are now undeniably coming to pass.

Significance and Purpose of Fulfillment

Fulfillment, refers to the physical reality or actual occurrence of events that were previously foretold as prophecies in the Bible. It signifies that God’s promises, once given, will undeniably come to pass. Prophecy is likened to a seed, and its fulfillment is the fruit that grows from that seed. Similarly, prophecy can be thought of as a movie script, and fulfillment is the movie itself, where characters become a cast and their actions are seen.

God’s work is characterized by His ability to speak (prophesy) and then to bring those prophecies to pass (fulfill them). This process demonstrates God’s existence, omnipotence, and reliability. The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is understood as a book of prophecy and fulfillment, representing God’s continuous work of creation and re-creation. God’s ultimate purpose, including the creation of heaven and earth, salvation, and the establishment of His eternal kingdom, is completed with the fulfillment of Revelation.

Understanding fulfillment is crucial for believers. Prophecies are given in advance so that when they occur, people will believe. True faith involves not just believing in God’s promises (prophecies) but also in their physical fulfillment. Without knowledge of the fulfillment, faith can remain incomplete or superficial. When fulfillment appears, it makes previously sealed or hidden meanings clear and understandable. This clarity is essential for people to distinguish truth from falsehood.

Fulfillment does not always happen in a single, obvious event or strictly in the chronological order of biblical chapters. God often works in a “small way” first, and then the word about that fulfillment spreads. For example, Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecies in His first coming, and similarly, New Testament prophecies, particularly those in Revelation, are being fulfilled now. The one who overcomes, a promised pastor, plays a key role in testifying about these physical fulfillments, having witnessed them. This testimony provides the evidence necessary for people to believe.

The Process of Revelation and Fulfillment

  1. From Sealed to Opened Word: The Book of Revelation was largely sealed with seven seals and hidden in parables for approximately 2,000 years, making its true meaning inaccessible. Jesus takes the book and opens its seals, which signifies the prophecies being fulfilled and their physical realities appearing.
  2. Divine Route of Delivery: The revelation of Jesus Christ is conveyed through a specific route: from God to Jesus, then from Jesus to an angel, who then delivers it to John (the new John), and finally, John testifies it to believers.
  3. The Role of the Promised Pastor (New John): At the time of Revelation’s fulfillment, a “new John” (identified as Chairman Lee Man-Hee) appears, who is chosen by Jesus to witness and testify about the physical realities of the prophecies. He receives the “open book” (the revealed words of Revelation) and testifies about their fulfillment. This testimony, known as the “new song” or “eternal gospel,” provides clarity and understanding of previously hidden meanings.

Key Events and Realities of Revelation’s Fulfillment

The fulfillment of Revelation involves a sequence of events:

  • Betrayal, Destruction, and Salvation: These three core events form the framework of Revelation’s fulfillment.
  • The Appearance of the Seven Messengers and Lampstands: Revelation’s fulfillment begins with the work of these seven figures, who prepare the way for the Lord’s second coming.
  • Overcoming the Nicolaitans and the Beast: The promised pastor is prophesied to fight and overcome the Nicolaitans (Satan’s organization) and the beast.
  • Creation of New Spiritual Israel (the Twelve Tribes): This involves the sealing of the 144,000 people and the gathering of a great multitude dressed in white robes who emerge from a great tribulation. These twelve tribes are created according to God’s promise in the physical world today.
  • Establishment of the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony: This is identified as Shincheonji Church of Jesus, founded on March 14, 1984. It is considered a holy place where God dwells and where all nations must come to worship. The events of Revelation’s fulfillment are geographically linked to Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, Republic of Korea, where the Tabernacle Temple is located.
  • The New Heaven and New Earth: The ultimate fulfillment includes the creation of a new heaven and new earth, upon which the holy city New Jerusalem descends, signifying the union of the spiritual and physical realms and the beginning of eternal rest.

While a large portion of Revelation has already been fulfilled and is currently being fulfilled, some events are still unfolding or awaiting complete fulfillment. It is also important to note that the order of fulfillment does not always strictly follow the chronological order of the biblical chapters.

In the East, where the land meets the sea and ancient winds whisper stories long buried in dust, a light emerged—not just of the sun, but of divine purpose. For over 6,000 years since Eden was lost, humanity has been trapped in a recurring cycle of betrayal, destruction, and salvation—a divine rhythm echoing through time. Each age brought with it a promise, a covenant, and yet each ended in rebellion and ruin. But God did not abandon His plan. Rather, He reserved the final work of salvation for the last days—a work not of symbolic expectation but of actual reality.

Now, in our lifetime, this ancient cycle nears its culmination. Not for another chapter of re-creation, but for the long-awaited fulfillment—a permanent salvation. For millennia, mankind wandered blindly, unaware of what had truly been lost in Eden, nor where to find the way back. But the Word of promise, once hidden, has begun to unfold—no longer in parables but in revealed testimony.

In Haenam County, South Korea—at the southernmost edge of the Korean peninsula known as “Land’s End”—a child was born. His grandfather, moved by a vivid dream of the heavens darkening and a single light descending into the womb of his daughter-in-law, named him Man-hee (만희)—meaning “complete light.” This wasn’t merely a name, but a declaration of destiny. The boy would grow up among the mountains of Suncheon, obedient and prayerful, surviving the terrors of war and hardship. During the Korean War, as bombs fell and neighbors fled, he lifted his voice into the forest sky and made a vow: “God, please save me! If You do, I will live my life for You.” He was spared. And he never forgot.

By day, he worked the land. By night, he lay under the stars. But in his dreams, the stars began to fall. A voice called out, “Come out from the world. I will show you the true work of God.” Following this voice, he joined a religious community, seeking God. Yet what he encountered was not light, but darkness hidden beneath holiness. Sacred titles concealed greed and corruption. When he questioned it, he was cast out—rejected like the prophets of old. The pattern repeated: betrayal, destruction. Still, he prayed: “God, is there no one doing Your work?”

Then it happened. A light descended and entered him. And from that moment, the Bible—once a sealed book—opened before his eyes. It was not by human interpretation, but by divine revelation. He spoke boldly. What had been sealed in the Book of Revelation became clear—chapter by chapter, verse by verse. The Word was no longer theory; it was testimony. Fulfillment. Reality.

He held no title. He was not educated in seminaries. Yet the Word he spoke was alive. Crowds gathered—not to hear a man, but to witness a message that made Scripture breathe. Skeptics came. Some wept. Some repented. Some rejoiced. All said the same thing: “I’ve never heard this before.” It wasn’t another denomination. It wasn’t a new interpretation. It was the promised fulfillment that generations had longed for.

Opposition rose. Religious leaders were shaken. Families divided. Churches closed their doors. But those who had received the Word could not deny what they saw. Like the prophecy of Revelation 22:16—“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches”—they saw before them the messenger promised to testify. They testified not to theory, but to fulfillment. Not to tradition, but to reality.

The light that began at the land’s end—where dust becomes life and darkness gives way to dawn—began to spread. Quietly. Powerfully. From Mt. Duryun and Gangjin Bay to Gwacheon’s Makgye-ri, this was the land of prophecy. It was the East where the sun rises, just as Revelation 7:2 says: “I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God.”

This light reached the hurt, the hopeless, the disillusioned. Those who had left religion behind, those wounded by hypocrisy, and those still searching for truth—they all heard the same message. Not an emotional sermon. Not theological jargon. But something real. Logical. Biblical. Fulfilled. They discovered the purpose for which they were born.

This was not coincidence. From the Tree of Life in Eden to the final sealing of God’s people in Revelation, the arc of history now curved back to the place it began: the East. Cheongdo, where “Cheong” means pure and “do” means the Way—the Logos—became the cradle of light. From there, the Promised Pastor was raised up. Born into the royal lineage of Prince Hyoryeong, he became the one through whom the seed sown by Jesus 2,000 years ago was finally harvested.

Like Moses, who received the heavenly blueprint on Sinai, this man was shown the fulfillment of Revelation. He recorded it. He testified to it. And as the Tabernacle Temple fell to betrayal and the Gentile pastor (symbolically called Balaam, Nicolas, and the fallen star) entered, a new history began. Out of destruction came salvation.

Through letters to the Seven Angels, through mountain sermons during wilderness worship, and through a war fought not with swords, but with the word of testimony, the pastor overcame. This was the true meaning of Revelation 12:11: “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

The light did not begin in a palace or cathedral. It began in the quiet mountains of South Korea. And from that light, a new temple was built—not of stone, but of spirit. The 12 Tribes of New Spiritual Israel were established, just as it was shown to the one who saw and heard all these things.

Now, the testimony goes forth. Not a demand to follow, but an invitation to listen, to ask and to verify. For this is not the end—but the beginning. A new gospel. A new covenant. And a new kingdom being born.

Because the sun rises in the East. And from the East, the light of revelation is now shining across the world.

All of history—prophets, signs, sealed scrolls—has led to this moment. The Book of Revelation, once sealed in vision and mystery, has now opened in our time, not as metaphor but as actual fulfillment. Just as Apostole John bore witness to what he saw and heard in vision, this man now testifies in reality to the events of Revelation—chapter by chapter, verse by verse—not with interpretation, but with evidence and fulfillment.

And who is this man?

He is Lee Man-hee, born of the Jeonju Lee royal lineage, the 19th-generation descendant of Prince Hyoryeong. He is the one prophesied to come—the Promised Pastor sent by Jesus to testify to the churches. He is the one who overcame the destroyers and established the 12 tribes of New Spiritual Israel. The light that was seen in a grandfather’s dream now lives in the man who walks among us. Not as a symbol, but as the reality of the final work of God.

He is the messenger sent by Jesus, the one who received the opened scroll from heaven, and now testifies to the churches just as promised in Revelation 22:16: “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches.”

This man, Lee Man-hee, did not speak on his own. He was shown everything and commanded to testify. Through him, the secrets of heaven have been revealed. Through him, the light of the East has begun to shine—not just on one nation, but to all the world.

Now, the choice remains with us: to see, to hear, and to understand.
Because this is no longer a story in vision. It is a reality unfolding before our very eyes. And that light is still shining.
