Elder Kim’s testimony

1. Do you know Elder Kim Dae-Won? 

If there are people who just hear the name and think of him as the physical fulfillment of one the seven bowls in Revelation, they are former Shincheonji members.

In Revelation 16, there are bowls of judgment. Shincheonji interprets the bowl as a person, saying that there is a physical fulfillment.

It is Shincheonji that teaches that the physical fulfillment of the first bowl is Lee Man-hee. One of the bowls is said to be Elder Kim Dae-won. He is the brother-in-law of Shincheonji Ji Jae-seop, the leader of the Peter tribe.

In April 1967, when Elder Kim was in his early 30s, he joined the Tabernacle Temple. It is said that a large number of people who had escaped from the faith-village of Tae-seon Park (Olive tree church) came to the Tabernacle temple at the beginning of the fall of 1967. He met Lee Man-hee there. Lee Man-hee’s hands were calloused and worn out.

This is because he worked for 10 years to build the Millennium Castle for Park Tae-seon. Even after Lee Man-hee moved to the Tabernacle Temple, Lee Man-hee worked as a plasterer for another two years and served loyally as a labourer. Lee Man-hee was so tired that he could not participate in the morning worship service which is very important.

Then, on 14 September 1969, when the three-and-a-half-year time-limited apocalypse was not fulfilled, Lee Man-hee entered the Baek Man-Bong (Solomon) Recreation Church again. Elder Kim claims that Lee Man Hee followed Baek Man-Bong and acted as one of the ‘Twelve Disciples’ and served him as a lord. It is said that the followers of Baek Man-Bong and Elder Kim and the Lee Man-Hee ate, drank, and played together every day. They used to beg for food, especially at funerals and weddings. We drank a lot of spirits(hard liquor), and Lee Man-hee said to me, “damn I’m drinking spirits because of you.”

A man named Solomon (Baek Man-Bong) was a cult leader. 14 March 1980 was a turning point. On that day, Solomon said “I would stop the Sun”, but when nothing happened, they fought each other and the Recreation church was disbanded. After this, Lee Man-hee established Shincheonji, and then Elder Kim also joined Shincheonji with five followers in Gwangju. Elder Kim, who had been in Shincheonji until 1990, ended his Shincheonji life while working, and 27 years after that, Shincheonji, became the biggest cult in Korea.

Elder Kim: Fifty years ago, I dedicated my youth to this cult leader. Even now, when I think of that time, tears remain in my heart. What’s more heart-breaking is that there are young people who are devoting their lives to Lee Man-hee, just as I did. The Tabernacle temple was nothing more than a cult. I promise to dedicate the rest of my life to spread awareness that Shincheonji is a fraud.

The figures in the Temple of the Tabernacle were marked with their Spiritual names, terms and characters from the Bible, such as Immanuel (Yoo In-Gu), Samson (Yoo Jae-Yeol), and Solomon (Baek Man-Bong).

Q: Elder Kim entered the Temple of the Tabernacle in April 1967 and is a witness who has heard it from the beginning. Why does Lee Man-hee say he doesn’t know you?

A: I should also tell you about Lee Man-Hee’s career. It’s important. The cult that Lee Man-hee joined in May 1957 is, to put it simply, Faith-Village (Park Tae-Sun’s Olive church). He worked so hard to build the Millennium Castle for Park Tae-seon there that his hands were damaged.

Q: “When you met Lee Man-Hee at the Tabernacle temple, you said his hands were already mangled, how bad was it?”

A: To the extent that his fingerprints disappeared. He worked day and night to build the Millennium Castle there. And he moved from the Olive Church to the Tabernacle temple. They taught a time-limited apocalypse at the Tabernacle Temple. They promised a 3-year deadline, after which they would live in a new heaven and a new earth (“never die, never grow old”).

Yoo Jae-Yeol (Samson) was preaching, isn’t he a gymnast?”

A: Right! That’s exactly what I was deluded about. “For more than two hours, the Bible was closed, and he matched bible verses about the last days, the new heaven and new earth, the two witnesses, and Revelation. I was also suspicious of his lip-syncing.

A: Yes. People who haven’t seen it probably won’t believe it. That’s what drove me crazy. “The important thing is that the tabernacle temple was the person who joined the Kim Jong-Kyu’s (Kim Yong-Ki) HoSaeng Prayer House.

While praying there, he heard a voice saying, ‘Go under Mt. Cheonggye and build a church and a shelter, and I will teach you everything. Lee Man-hee wrote here that they received answers from the Holy Spirit for 100 days after building the hut. They said,” within three and a half years, the Lord will teach you everything and fulfill all of the book of Revelation in the Bible. Then, they made a covenant of blood, so seven people cut their arteries and even placed the covenant of blood (Tabernacle temple said that the blood was collected in a glass bottle) on the podium where they preached. I saw all the seven messengers of the tabernacle temple. But I don’t know if Lee Man-hee saw all of them.

Q: It is said that these people were nourished by the Holy Spirit for one hundred days. Is that true?

A: In their own words! So, they made a covenant of blood. How did they make the promise? Like this, seven messengers are seven spirits, seven angels, aren’t angels harvesters? I will take you as reapers in the last days. Three and a half years (since 1966) prophesied and sealed. The saddest thing for me right now is that young people, college students quit school, and workers quit their jobs. People with faith abandoned their family and fought with them like Shincheonji, and all came to the Tabernacle Temple.

Q: Then, when you said that these people, who are called the seven spirits, are nurtured for a hundred days, has Lee Man-hee ever seen that?

A: Never

Q: What year did Lee Man-hee enter the Tabernacle Temple?

A: He came in around the fall of 1967 or early 1968. At that time, there was no Immanuel (Yoo In-gu). Lee Man hee probably didn’t even see his face. This is because Immanuel and Samson fought in July and August of 1967 and Immanuel left the Temple of the Tabernacle.

Q: Lee Man-Hee did not even see the reality at all.

A: Has Lee Man-hee ever seen his face? I can’t be sure of that

Q: In terms of time, is it a time that Lee Man-hee couldn’t have seen?

A: Yes

Q: I would like to hear an explanation about the spiritual names.

A: Spiritual name is important. There was an order in the spiritual names. First is Emmanuel (Yoo In-gu), the second is Samson (Yoo Jae-Yoel), the third is Michael (Kim Chang-Do), 4th is Tyras (Kim Young-Ae), 5th is Solomon (Baek Man-Bong), 6th is Samuel (Jung Chang-Rae), 7th was Joshua (Shin Kwang-il).

The most important thing here is that obviously those people were orderly in the heavenly organization. However, Immanuel ranked first and Samson ranked second. In a book written by Lee Man-hee, Samson is the serpent descended from the tribe of Dan who could not be sealed! The descendant of the devil is Samson! Because, in Genesis 49:17 Dan will be a serpent by the roadside, a viper along the path, that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider tumbles backward. But Samson was ranked second among the seven spirits. Later, he became the representative religious leader. He fought with his father and kicked him out. According to Shintan, the archangel of heaven was loyal to Emmanuel (Yoo In-gu), and Samson defeated the serpent and viper of the tribe of Dan, he was served as king and obeyed absolutely! Do they serve snakes and vipers (Samson) as kings? This is a play on words, it doesn’t make sense.

Q: At this time, fire (judgment) was not interpreted as the word of judgment (Shincheonji interprets fire judgment as the word of judgment according to the parable interpretation, that is, if you listen to the words of Lee Man-hee, you live and if you do not listen, you die) and interpreted it as an actual war.

A: The Tabernacle temple made it clear that it was an actual war. They said that because of the war, almost all people will die. And they even emphasized it by drawing pictures… They said that only sincere people gather in the morning service, so I prayed in the morning at 4:00 and 5:00.

They said North Korea was going to invade South Korea again. They quoted Jeremiah 1:13 The word of the LORD came to me again: “What do you see?” “I see a boiling pot, tilting away from the north,” I answered. South Korea will be completely occupied, they never occupy the place they are under Mt. Cheonggye, up to the Gwacheon reservoir (where the Tabernacle Temple is located).

Then, when we asked where we were going, they told us to run to the mountain, and we all taught that Mt. Cheonggye was Mount Zion and the city of Jerusalem.

All people die in war, but later, seven spirits received authority from God. The seven spirits judge all the rest, and only those who come to the tabernacle temple and are sealed live as priests for a thousand years!

Q: I’d like to clarify regarding the Tabernacle temple. Shincheonji claims that this is the history of the Holy Spirit, but Samson started a jewellery store in 1967 and a mud brick factory in 1968. If three and a half years is the history of the covenant, and they are starting a business at this time, people may say this is a religious fraud.

A: That’s what I’m thinking right now, that’s what I mean. It is said that three and a half years is the period of the covenant, and the actions of those people (7 messengers) were like that. Once a person falls into delusion, put it simply, it’s the same as a drunk person. It’s the same as a drug addict. They believe in anything and everything.

Q: Where did they start the jewellery store?

A: It was in Sadang-dong (Seoul)

Q: He said that North Korea will invade and occupy the front of the Gwacheon reservoir, but did he actually make a jewellery store in Sadang-dong? (Sadang-dong, Seoul, is north of Gwacheon.)

A: So, it’s a complete spiritual fraud. It was difficult to even look at the face of a man named Immanuel. Even among Shincheonji people, few people have seen it. It must be June 1967 Immanuel looked at me and said, “Oh, it (World War 3) started!” In 1967, the Middle East 6-Day War started.

Q: The blood covenant of the Tabernacle Temple is famous. It is said that they cut their arteries twice and made a covenant with blood, but in fact, cutting an artery could lead to death from excessive blood loss. Have you ever seen them make a covenant by cutting arteries, and Shincheonji says it is the first covenant?

A: No, I didn’t see them cutting an artery, but since they said they did, I can’t confirm.

Q: Haven’t you seen them cut an artery?

A: Who would have seen it?

Q: Then, hasn’t Lee Man-hee never seen their arteries being cut?

A: He has never seen it… He didn’t see any of the 7.

Q: Lee Man-hee is just listening to them and repeating it to others.

A: Of course.

Q: In fact, only seven people have seen it.

A: They are the only ones. The reality of the first covenant itself is not the work of the Holy Spirit. It’s a scam! Because it was said that the end of the world would come in three and a half years, but they did business during the covenant period. And after a year or two, they fight among themselves because of money, and Samson fires them, leaving only four of the seven. Then, Lee Man-hee wrote a letter to the seven messengers of the seven churches in 1980, it’s a scam.

2. Do you know Elder Kim Dae-Won? 

Q: Lee Man-hee went down to Cheongdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do, his hometown, and lived there for 7 years!

A: Yes, if Lee Man-hee has already fought (Lee Man-hee sued Yoo Jae-yeol for wage theft and fraud) Samson in the Temple of the Tabernacle and left, the relationship has already ended. After having a relationship, fighting and leaving for 7 years, isn’t the relationship with the Tabernacle temple already over? He is not a member of the Tabernacle temple anymore. But Lee Man-hee claims that a woman clothed with the sun in Rv 12 as Samson, and the male child is Lee Man-hee. This claim is really nonsensical. Let me explain this: Around 1970, Lee Man-hee, the leader of Shincheonji, also went to his hometown and lived there for 7 years. After Solomon’s time limited apocalypse ended in fraud, he fought and left.

Q: Now, tell me about the Recreation Church (Baek Man-Bong, Shincheonji calls him Solomon).

A: The Recreation Church, Solomon recruited people.

Q: He started to gather people who were disappointed and left the Tabernacle temple.

A: That’s right. They called it the Recreation church and made 12 disciples on a first-come, first-serve basis. A person who has never been to church, a gangster. Man-hee Lee came last and entered the twelve. Actually!

Q: Ah, the Recreation church in 1977 should be called twelve apostles? What should I say?

A: They didn’t call themselves apostles, they just called them twelve disciples.

Q: When the Recreation church was established in 1977, Man-Hee Lee joined as the 12 disciples. And where was the Recreation church located?

A: There was no church, and at first it was located in Seoul Samgakji. They never read the bible. Because the Bible has already ended, because it has been fulfilled in reality, Revelation has ended.

Q: When Solomon created the Recreation church, he called himself the spiritual Father, and Lord of the Second Coming. If Lee Man-hee joined as one of the Twelve Disciples, does that mean he believed in Solomon as the Lord of the Second Coming?

A: Of course.

Q: Is it true that Solomon also insisted until March 14, 1980, for three and a half years’ time limited apocalypse and nothing happened?

A: It was exactly the same as the Tabernacle Temple with Samson. He learned there. Dozens of people gathered together, had a party, ate, drank, and so on. On the morning of March 14, 1980, on the other side of Makgye-ri, there was a reservoir in Makgye 1-ri. Next to the reservoir, there was an empty house in Makgye 2 ri. We ate, drank, and played without reading the Bible there.

Q: Lee Man-hee also believed in Solomon as the Lord of the Second Coming, ate, drank, played yut-nori (Korean traditional game), and continued this life?

A: He continued because he was one of the 12 disciples.

Q: After nothing happened on March 14? What did Solomon say?

A: On the morning of March 14, 1980, the sun rose from Mt. Cheonggye. I (Solomon) will make the Sun stop by my might! This was a ridiculous scam! After this, everyone fought and scattered. Who did fight the most? Lee Man-hee and Solomon fought a lot, blaming each other.

Q: Did They beat (fist fight) each other?

A: They fought with words

Q: But from the standpoint of Lee Man-hee, Solomon is the Lord of the Second Coming. But how does he fight the Lord of the Second Coming?

A: At that time, Lee Man-hee was not the Lord of the Second Coming, but one of the Twelve Disciples. Lee Man-Hee was first a teacher, and then slightly changed to the counselor. Then he changed to the winner (the one who overcomes).

Q: It would be nice if you could explain the history after the Recreation church. After March 14, 1980, please explain the early history of Lee Man-hee and Shincheonji.

A: People gathered from the Recreation church. Hong Jong-hyo (he is called the two witnesses in Shincheonji). Someone Lee Man-hee has known since the Olive church. Since he had nothing to do, he wandered around the Tabernacle temple. The rumour that he wrote letters to seven churches in 1980 came from there.

Q: Wasn’t that when the Seven Churches themselves didn’t exist?

A: I told you It’s gone since 1971. After three and a half years of the first covenant (September 14, 1969), Yoo Jae-yeol was stigmatized by society as a heretical pseudo-religionist and became unable to run the church. So, it is said that Pastor Oh, the director of the Stewardship Training center, entered the Tabernacle temple and destroyed it. No, he said that the Temple of the Tabernacle ended on September 14, 1969! Apostasy! In other words, the first covenant was made, but Samson and the seven messengers apostatized! Q: Was it not the covenant itself?

A: Because it’s all lies. From my point of view, I lived and experienced it with him, and after listening to everything he said, I came to the conclusion that he is a spiritual swindler! Because the fact that Yoo Jae-yeol is not a traitor is not the covenant itself. Even if they apostatized, the first covenant had already ended with a false end on September 14, 1969. The existence of the Tabernacle Temple has ended. King Immanuel, who is said to have made the first covenant, fought and broke up already. Furthermore, isn’t it the end of the burning of the covenant?

Q: In the case of <Shintan (Birth of God)>, a book of Shincheonji, Shincheonji claims that two people (Kim Gun-Nam, Kim Byung-Hee) wrote it, and Lee Man-hee didn’t. How did this happen?

A: I once met Kim Gun-nam and Kim Byung-hee before. They came to me when I was in Indeokwon, Gyeonggi-do. Shincheonji Book List No. 1 is Shintan. Then <The Truth of the Book of Revelation>, right? Then <The Complete Commentary on the Book of Revelation>, I have all three books! If Lee Man-hee denies the contents of <Shintan>, why did he put Shintan as No.1 in the book list??

Q: Shintan, Lee Man-hee denies that he wrote it, but you said, Shintan is listed in the no.1 of Shincheonji’s book list!

A: He sold this book. At that time, I bought this for 9,000 won. The authors of Shintan are Kim Gun-nam and Kim Byung-hee. It was written by them at the request of Lee Man-hee. The doctrines of Shintan are also undeniable Shincheonji doctrines. The truth and evidence of Shincheonji, the time limit apocalypse, is the 369 th page of Shintan, in 1984, fighting the beast of destruction and winning. He said that the period of sealing is not infinite. Three and a half years, since they are trampled on, three and a half years is the period of sealing. Even quoting the Joel Bible verse. After that, he wrote everything in the bible that it would be finished within 7 years.

March 14, 1984, when sealing history begins, 3 and a half years later, September 14, 1987, he quoted Genesis.

He put the fourth day of Genesis as 1984. Then the fifth day is 1985, the sixth day is 1986. In Genesis, God finished everything. What’s the finish? Isn’t that the end? It never ends. Instead of ending, the words keep changing. Cults always change their words.

Q: When Shincheonji failed its time limit, was there anything the president made an excuse?

A: You would believe it when you’re brainwashed. Just as I fell for Samson and I fell for Solomon, even though he did crazy things, I followed him. Also, I followed Lee Man-hee. I also went to Shincheonji. They educate them with videos, call Lee Man-Hee the winner (overcomer), and I feel nauseous. And young college students can’t lift their heads as if they were trembling in front of the old king. When I see them like that, I feel so sorry. Tears come to my eyes.

Q: Please say something to the Shincheonji believers in closing

A: It’s really very heart-breaking, and I still can’t sleep to this day. Fifty years later, my momentary mistakes and falling into the spirit of evil. Many deceiving spirits, evil spirits, and false Christs have appeared in this world. I’m the one who fell for that. But at that time, many young people deluded by Samson, college students quit school, office workers quit their jobs, and people who should go to the army avoided military service (in South Korea, military service is compulsory, and evasion is subject to legal punishment). Too many people’s lives have been ruined because of these things. If you fall into delusion, it is difficult to get out of it as if you were in a pit. Just like drug addicts have a hard time quitting. So, regardless of the means and methods, I have to let people know! In the future, Shincheonji members should be informed of the true nature and identity of reality.
