Dear Subreddit,
This post is meant to be a pool of information regarding all Books & JSS Articles from MHL. I have collected every available book and article and compiled them in a shared Drive. Below is the list of available books:

Most of the books are in Korean—Google Translate works well if you capture parts of the text. For JSS Articles, I have nearly every article (mostly in German) since 2020. Thank you all for posting these. It has been quite a wake-up call to notice how many changes have occurred from the “before” to “today.” It is also interesting to observe that only parts of the full story are included in the testimonies—other parts are purposely left out and the narrative appears to be increasingly fabricated as time passes.

Does anyone know how long the 1985 version of the teaching was circulated before it was removed? If they consider their own book “poison,” it would be interesting to know how long people were allegedly being “poisoned” by their approved book. I also find it fascinating that SCJ condemns others’ commentaries while justifying their own, even though these commentaries have been altered and fabricated over time.

Notable observations from the 1985 version:

• Page 54: The passage about giving a white stone with a new name is compared to John 14:16, suggesting that a new leader or “Comforter” is sent instead of the historical Jesus.

• The text raises questions regarding the context of certain biblical verses and whether the complete story aligns with prophecy or has been continuously altered.

Also, I am posting these steps to translate a picture with foreign text in case anyone needs to know the process:

1. Screenshot the picture and crop as needed.

2. Go to “Pictures” > “Library” > “Screenshots.”

3. Select the screenshot of the foreign language text.

4. Choose the “Lense” or “Copy Text” option.

5. Highlight the text you wish to translate.

6. Select the “Translate” option (either on the highlighted text’s pin or at the bottom of the screen) to have the text translated directly on the image.

I am on my way out of SCJ. While discussing doctrine changes with my higher-ups, I was told that the 1985 book was written and edited by a man named Mr. Shin—one of the first antichrists—who greedily took matters into his own hands. He was an HQ worker, and when assigned the task of writing the 1985 revelation reality, he deliberately changed things. The doctrine change I’m referring to is that Mr. Oh is not always portrayed as the beast of the earth. Does anyone know if these claims are valid? Thanks.

  Hey – I think you are referring to the book Shintan. You can find it (along with all officially published SCJ books) in the post above. Shintan was approved by MHL even if it may not have been written by him. Regarding the book Development of Shincheonji (see page 127), it is listed alongside other official books. In my opinion, when Shin (also known as “The Snake”) left SCJ and pointed out the false claims from its early days, SCJ or MHL used him as a scapegoat for these discrepancies. I hope that helps—feel free to ask any follow-up questions.

Can a mod please pin this post? I believe it would be a great crowdsourcing effort to gather as much of CHJN’s JSS as possible, especially the bilingual Korean-English versions.
