Merry Christmas!
Hello, here’s a website that goes into detail about Shincheonji. In the near future, we will be updating the website with more content, including more doctrinal issues of SCJ, alongside the fulfillment issues of SCJ, and the psychology of a cult. We will also update the website with articles addressing the common questions about SCJ, like how to help a loved one, and etc.

We will be addressing SCJ from both a secular point of view, and a doctrinal point of view.
The Closer Look Initiative is dedicated to exploring diverse interpretations of biblical narratives, particularly those concerning end times in the Book of Revelation and the plan for salvation, by creating a comprehensive resource that gathers various doctrinal explanations to deepen readers’ understanding of Scripture. Serving as a platform for personal research and Bible study, it encourages individuals to embark on their spiritual journeys while sharing notes, guidelines, insights, and discoveries with others seeking spiritual answers. In line with this mission, the Initiative critically examines groups like the Shincheonji Church of Jesus (SCJ), a new religious movement founded in South Korea by Lee Man-hee, by providing resources on SCJ’s Bible study lessons and practices alongside biblical critiques of their teachings. With plans to expand its content to include further biblical refutations, discussions on fulfillment issues, and a detailed Q&A section for Bible study, the Closer Look Initiative aims to offer a comprehensive overview of such groups while fostering informed engagement with Scripture.

We also have articles talking about SCJ’s point of view:

We will continue improving the website by adding more articles, more refutations, and a careful analysis of what SCJ claims doctrinally, and showing the error.
We are called to be like the Berean Jews of Acts 17:11, and to test the spirits as seen in 1 John 4:1, and yet, SCJ simultaneously attempts to suppress any counter information for their current members and Bible Study students.
