Chapter 6 marks the beginning of judgment within the first tabernacle—what Shincheonji identifies as the “chosen people who betrayed.” These judgments are unveiled through the opening of the six seals by the Lamb (Jesus). According to the testimony, each seal reveals a new phase of judgment:
-
White horse: Represents the initial victory through the word.
-
Red, black, and pale horses: Symbolize conflict, famine, and death among the corrupted congregation.
-
The martyrs under the altar: Those slain for the word of God cry out for justice.
-
The sixth seal: Brings cosmic disturbances—interpreted figuratively as the complete collapse of the corrupt religious organization.
This chapter signifies the collapse of the first heaven (betraying church) and is seen as the beginning of the end for false religious entities that once claimed to belong to God. The chosen people have become corrupted, and judgment is executed through God’s sealed word, with the start of spiritual death and the falling of “stars,” which are said to be fallen pastors.
In contrast to the destruction in Chapter 6, Chapter 7 introduces hope and restoration. While judgment comes to those who betrayed, this chapter introduces the sealing of the 144,000 from the 12 tribes of the new spiritual Israel. According to Shincheonji, this signifies:
-
The end of the old era (the first heaven that fell) and
-
The start of the new era through the creation of the 12 tribes.
The 144,000 are described as sealed with the word of God, meaning they fully understand and accept the revealed testimony. This sealing is not literal but symbolic of being equipped with the full knowledge of the New Covenant.
Following them is the great multitude in white robes—those who come out of the great tribulation, having washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb. These are seen as the harvest of believers who recognize the fulfillment and join the new nation after judgment.
Together, Chapters 6 and 7 depict the two pivotal movements in Revelation according to Shincheonji:
-
Destruction of the former corrupted spiritual organization, and
-
Salvation and recreation of God’s new people, centered around the promised pastor who testifies to the fulfilled reality.
Revelation Chapters 6–7: The Judgment and the Sealing
A Reflective Narrative on the Collapse of the First Heaven and the Rise of the New Nation
Judgment Begins at the Tabernacle Temple
The Tabernacle Temple, once regarded as the dwelling place of God’s chosen people, now becomes the very ground on which Revelation’s most severe judgment unfolds. Within those sacred walls, betrayal had taken root—congregation members had forsaken the covenant and welcomed false teachings. But judgment did not descend in chaos. It came in precision—seal by seal, as foretold in the sealed scroll given by God to Jesus.
As Jesus, encircled by the seven spirits before God’s throne, begins to open each of the seven seals, New John stands as the living witness on earth. Through his eyes, the visions are seen—not as abstract metaphors, but as realities happening in South Korea, at the exact place where betrayal first erupted. His spirit is stirred. Each seal marks a new phase of judgment. — And each reveals the consequence for those who broke faith at the Tabernacle Temple.

The First Seal: The White Horse
Judgment by the Word
“I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow…”
— Spoken by New John, narrating the vision (Revelation 6:2)
New John sees a white horse galloping forth. Its brightness is blinding, its symbolism unmistakable: this is the spirit, and the rider is Jesus in spirit, holding a bow that represents the word of God. But the white horse—moving swiftly, directed by the rider—is none other than New John himself, used by Jesus to execute judgment.
As the bow is drawn, the word pierces like arrows. These arrows strike the congregation members of the Tabernacle Temple who betrayed. They had rejected the letters sent by Jesus, consumed food sacrificed to idols, and aligned themselves with Gentiles. Now, judgment is upon them.
New John watches this unfold with trembling reverence. He sees himself being used as a tool of righteous judgment. He doesn’t act on his own—he is ridden, guided, and used to fulfill the will of heaven. The white-robed army following is the heavenly host, bearing testimony as they move against the betrayers with truth as their weapon.
The congregation had rejected the letters of Jesus. They had eaten the food of demons and made themselves one with the Gentiles. Now they are judged by the very Word they refused.

The Second Seal: The Red Horse
Judgment by Conflict
“Then another horse came out, a fiery red one… its rider was given power to take peace from the earth…”
— Spoken by New John, narrating the vision (Revelation 6:4)
Another horse storms forward—this one red like fire. Its presence is jarring. It carries no peace. New John sees the red horse carrying conflict as its banner, and the rider holds a large sword, another form of the Word, but this time not for correction—for division.
This judgment strikes deeper into the heart of the Tabernacle Temple. New John watches the congregation members who betrayed as disputes and arguments erupt. No longer is there peace. The Word now cuts through their doctrines, exposing their hypocrisy.
Evangelist Nicholas stands amid the turmoil. He is agitated, caught in spiritual warfare but unwilling to repent. New John sees the hesitation, the fear—the evasion of responsibility.
Congregation Member A: “Why do you question the doctrine?”
Congregation Member B: “I’m not questioning. I’m clarifying!”
Nicholas (Evangelist): “Why? Are you afraid you will get fired?”
This is not just noise—it is spiritual slaughter. Members clash using scripture as weapons. Truth is twisted. Accusations fly. Each word is a sword, and each wound is unseen, yet fatal. The judgment is not physical—it is spiritual death through theological war.
New John (observing): “This is spiritual slaughter. This is the price of betrayal.”
The Creation of Heaven and Earth, pp. 168-169
The Third Seal: The Black Horse
Judgment by the Scale
“I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales…”
— Spoken by New John, narrating the vision (Revelation 6:5)
The scale represents the measuring of faith. The weapon that the black horse uses is a scale which weighs faith and actions of the congregation members who betrayed. One by one, the deeds of the congregation are tested against the revealed Word. Most are found lacking. Their lives, heavy with tradition but empty of spirit, cannot balance against Scripture. The congregation members who did not repent after their actions towards betrayal are weighed on a scale but their faith and actions did not weigh according to the scriptures.
But there is a remnant—New John and those clothed in white—whose faith holds true. To them is spoken a mysterious phrase:
Heavenly Voice: “One quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages…”
Among the congregation members who did not dirty their clothes were given white clothes to wear.
The judgment is not of quantity, but of value. Only a few—those who did not stain their robes—are found faithful. New John sees them. They are given white clothes and acknowledged.
Heavenly Voice: “Follow him.”
New John (reflecting): “They are following me… I was spared… not because of who I am, but because I obeyed.”
The one who overcomes will wear white clothes as well, and that name will never be blotted out from the book of life. They are the remnant seed found by God to create a new kingdom. The companions dressed in white remain, while the tabernacle that betrayed is all kicked out to the Gentiles. “We are the only ones left. They took down the signs and they burned the covenant”.
The blood covenant is broken. The first heaven—once exalted—is gone.
The Physical Fulfillment of Revelation, pp. 116-117
The Fourth Seal: The Pale Horse
Judgment by Death
“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades followed close behind…”
— Spoken by New John, narrating the vision (Revelation 6:8)
The fourth judgment is the most chilling. The reality of the beasts of the earth that was brought by the rider on the pale horse is Nicholas. Nicholas, the false pastor who led the temple into deception, is now revealed to be the beast himself—the embodiment of spiritual death. The rider on the pale horse takes Nicholas, who is as evil as a beast of the earth, and kills a fourth of the congregation members whose spirits are corrupted. Those who consumed his commentaries and accepted his incorrect teachings are said to have died spiritually. The spirit of those who accept lies taught by Nicholas dies and gets taken away by Death and Hades into hell. A quarter of the congregation is lost. Not physically but spiritually condemned.
New John (grieved): “He led them astray… and now they’re gone. All of them.”
The rider does not speak, but judgment is final. Death collects those deceived. Hades drags them away.
The Physical Fulfillment of Revelation, pp. 118-120
The Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs
“I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain…”
— Spoken by New John, narrating the vision (Revelation 6:9)
The vision changes. New John sees beneath the altar—souls, not lost, but waiting. They are the martyrs, those who kept the Word and testimony even unto death. Their voices rise in righteous cry:
Martyrs (crying aloud): “How long, Sovereign Lord, until You avenge us?”
They are not forgotten. White robes are given to them—heaven’s affirmation. They are told to rest, for more must still die for the truth. New John hears this, and the weight of testimony presses upon him. He knows what it means to stand between God’s judgment and mankind’s rebellion.
Heavenly Voice: “Rest a little longer… until the full number of your fellow servants has been killed, just as you were.”
New John (silently): “There are more yet to die for the truth.”
That number is the third three-fourth congregation members of the tabernacle. This is the reality of spiritual martyrdom—unrecognized by the world, but acknowledged by heaven.
The Creation of Heaven and Earth, pp. 171-173
The Sixth Seal: Cosmic Signs — The Fall of the First Heaven
“There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black, the moon blood red, and the stars fell…”
— Spoken by New John, narrating the vision (Revelation 6:12–13)
Suddenly, the heavens tremble. New John sees a great earthquake, not physical but spiritual. The hearts of the congregation members—once like dirt—are shattered. The sun, representing a pastor from the Tabernacle Temple, turns black. The moon, the evangelist, loses its shine. The stars, the congregation members, fall.
The sky recedes, like a scroll rolling back. The spirit departs. The Tabernacle Temple, once exalted like the heavens, falls to its origin. The mountains and islands—the branched churches—are removed. They no longer belong to God but to Satan. The temple, once His dwelling, is now a Gentile house.
Panic spreads among the kings, princes, slaves, and free. They hide, terrified of the wrath of the Lamb.
“What in the world? I thought that the sun, moon, and stars in the Bible were in the physical sky…” New John exclaims.
A response comes:
“Yes, it says in Genesis 37, the sun, moon, and stars are God’s chosen people, Israel.”
The truth pierces. Betrayal is complete. The first heaven collapses. The chosen people are cast out and join the Gentile denomination. Heaven becomes earth. The Tabernacle Temple is no more.
The Physical Fulfillment of Revelation, pp. 121-125
After judgment, the winds stop. New John sees four angels holding back destruction. Another angel ascends from the east, bearing the seal of the living God.
Angel (commanding): “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” (Revelation 7:3)
New John sees the sealing begin. It is not ink, but the Word—engraved in the minds and hearts of those who accept the testimony of New John. Through this, God’s servants are marked.
A new creation emerges:
- 144,000 are sealed from the twelve tribes—the new spiritual Israel, born after the judgment.
- A great multitude, too vast to count, dressed in white. From all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages. Their robes were washed in the blood of the Lamb, cleansed by the revealed Word.
New John (in awe): “The first heaven is gone. This is the new heaven, the new earth.”
The blood of Jesus, shed long ago, now has its purpose fulfilled. Through the opened scroll and revealed testimony, the new kingdom has come. And the one who testifies is Lee Man-hee—the New John, the overcomer.

Final Reflection
The blood of Jesus, shed 2,000 years ago, was not merely historical—it was preparatory. It awaited the moment when the scroll would be opened, the seals broken, and the new kingdom formed. That time, according to Shincheonji teaching, is now. That place is Korea. And the one who testifies is Lee Man-hee (이만희), the promised pastor, the overcomer.
As Revelation 7 closes, the first heaven is gone. In its place, a kingdom of priests rises. A multitude no one can count, waving palm branches, worships before the throne. The age of fulfillment has begun.
